The article reports that the ResearchBuzz Search Gizmos to assist journalists and open-source intelligence investigators with online search including Gossip Machine and Contemporary Biography Builder. Topics include Gossip Machine uses pageview counts on Wikipedia to flag newsworthy days to search on Google News and Google Web; and Contemporary Biography Builder uses Wikipedia birth and death dates to search Google Books, and Library of Congress' Chronicling America, providing targeted results.
